This is a beautiful bandstand created to replace the old one. I don't know what happened to the old one. Maybe a tornado destroyed it. The old one (built in 1896) cost about one hundred dollars and the new one (built in 1990) about six thousand dollars. Photo taken 30 Aug 2018.

Here's the town's water tower. There's a cell phone tower hidden behind the electrical power line tower. They have their own cell phone tower; must have good service.

Someone asked me why folks still live in a small town like this. I showed them this picture and said 'because of neighborhoods like this out and away from all the hustle and bustle of city life.
